Of Snakes and Friends

Saw Anacondas the other day. Used the free movie passes I got from my sister-in-law. Thanks sis-in-law! Anyway, the movie was mediocre to me. I mean, I didn't see the first one, so I can't actually compare the two of them together. But like my buddy said, it's simply an action-packed movie. You don't have to think about the plot or whatnot. You can leave your brains at home to watch this movie. Seriously.

I've been thinking about something lately. And I've discussed it with a close buddy of mine. You never know who's hating you. And at the same time, you never know who's loving you. But I wanna talk about the hating part, ok. Anyway, just found out that a friend of mine, well, I thought he was a friend of mine, doesn't like me. I don't mean to say, everyone loves me. But the thing is, I never had any problems with this guy. Well, not that I know of. But unfortunately, I did do something that he disapproves. Although I can't, for the life of me, figure out what it is!

The moral of the story is, no matter what you do to make people feel good, to try to be civil, to be pleasant, there will always be someone who hates your guts, for whatever reason. Oh, well. Too bad, huh. I'm not going to apologize to that person until I know what my wrongdoing to him was. I'm not even going to ask him. I'm going to keep on doing what I do, and ignore the fact that he wants to karate-chop my head off. Hehehe...

Recently, got a message from my friend, who I thought was in Ireland. She was doing medicine there. She was my bus-mate back when I was in Form 1. Dang, that's like 12 years ago! Anyway, she was wondering whether I was still working here. Because, suprise, suprise, she's going to work here as well!! So, we had lunch the other day. It was good to see her again. We haven't seen each other for quite some time now. So, most probably she'll be starting work at the end of this month. But I doubt we'll get to see each other often, since she'll be up to her neck with patients. On another note, another friend of mine, who is working here as well, will be moving to another hospital.
